Cookie Policy
Some cookies are needed for the site to work and are always on. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are optional: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they are only set if you accept, and elsewhere you can switch them off at any time.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are strictly necessary for a site to function (for example, remembering your language); others are used for analytics or advertising and, in many jurisdictions, require your consent before they are set.
Always-on cookies and storage
These only make the features you ask for work:
- hln-lang — remembers your preferred language (English, Spanish or French) for one year. It is only set when you pick a language or dismiss the language banner. It is a preference cookie, not a tracker.
- hln-whatsapp-sales — keeps the salesperson assigned to you for 30 days after you click a WhatsApp link. It is renewed when you use WhatsApp again so an active conversation does not switch people. It contains no contact details and is not used for advertising tracking.
- hln-consent — kept in your browser’s local storage; remembers for six months whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we do not ask on every page.
Optional analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
We load both through Google Tag Manager to learn how buyers use the site: which pages they read, which buttons they use (WhatsApp, email, quote requests, “Ask AI”) and where a page confuses people. Google Analytics counts visits and those clicks; Microsoft Clarity turns clicks, scrolling and mouse movement into heatmaps and session replays. Both use the same pseudonymous visitor ID, so a replay can be matched to its visit. We do not use them for advertising or to identify you by name.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google Tag Manager — and with it these tools — loads only after you press “Accept” in the cookie banner. Elsewhere they load by default; press “Reject” in Cookie settings to stop them.

When Clarity runs, Microsoft may also set cookies on its own domains (such as MUID and CLID); we cannot read or delete those. See Microsoft’s Clarity cookie list ↗ and Google’s page on how it uses information from partner sites ↗.
Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile
Inquiry forms load Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated submissions. Turnstile runs technical browser checks, shares necessary data such as the IP address with Cloudflare, and returns a verification token; it does not read form fields. We have not enabled pre-clearance, so this integration does not request the cf_clearance cookie. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum ↗.
Cookie-free performance measurement
We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count aggregate visits and measure loading performance. These tools set no cookies, build no advertising profiles and do not show us the identity of individual visitors.
Third-party content: Google Maps and YouTube
Our contact page can show an interactive map of the factory. The map is click-to-load: nothing is fetched from Google until you press “Load interactive map”. If you choose to load it, your browser connects to Google’s servers, shares your IP address, and Google may set cookies of its own, such as:

If you prefer not to share anything with Google, simply don’t load the map — the factory address is shown next to it as plain text. See Google’s cookie policy ↗.
Factory videos are click-to-play: until you press play, only a still image is shown and nothing is loaded from YouTube. When you play a video, it loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube may then store cookies or similar data on your device under Google’s privacy rules.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can view, delete or block cookies at any time:
- Most browsers let you refuse all cookies or only third-party cookies in their privacy settings.
- You can delete cookies already stored on your device through your browser’s history or site-data settings.
- If you block cookies, the website still works, but it cannot remember your language or keep the same WhatsApp salesperson between visits.

If we add another optional tool, we will update this page first and, where consent is required, ask you again before it loads.
