What shorts do we manufacture?

Shorts share blocks with our pants, so a capsule of joggers and shorts keeps the same fit logic and can be cut from one dye lot — one approval round for the whole drop. As a custom shorts manufacturer we build fleece, twill and mesh styles from 240 to 360 GSM with the drawcord, pocket and lining options your spec calls for.

Which fabrics do we use for shorts?

French terry at 240–320 GSM for sweat shorts, cotton twill at 240–360 GSM for cargo and chino styles, and polyester mesh or woven nylon for athletic programs. Sweat shorts are cut from the same fabric as your hoodies and joggers when you order sets; twill is pre-washed so pockets and waistbands do not pucker after the first wash. Which waistband, pocket and finishing details do we hold?

Covered or jacquard elastic waistbands with your logo, flat drawcords with dipped or metal tips through bar-tacked eyelets, pocket bags in jersey or pocketing fabric, and hems that are coverstitched, rib-finished or split with a bartack. Inseam length is graded with the size run so the leg opening scales correctly instead of staying fixed.

• Pockets: side seam, welt, patch, cargo and zip pockets with YKK or SBS zips
• Waistbands: elasticated, drawcord, fixed with belt loops
• Liners: mesh, brief or none to spec for athletic styles
• Grading from XS to XXL through pattern making and grading

How do decoration and branding work on shorts?

Print placement and embroidery are sampled on the actual leg panels so artwork clears seams and pockets. Screen print, puff print, embroidery and heat transfer run through printing and embroidery partners we audit; garment dye and acid wash use recorded recipes so shorts match the tops they ship with. Waistband labels and hangtags are applied through private label.

What are the MOQ, sample time and lead time for shorts?

MOQ is 50 pieces per style across sizes. Samples take 8–15 days through sample development and bulk ships 24–30 days after approval. Shorts ordered with matching t-shirts or tank tops share a dye lot without changing the per-style minimum.

Which quality checks run before shorts ship?

• Fabric: shrinkage tested per lot so inseam holds after washing
• Sewing: waistband elastic recovery, drawcord bartacks, pocket closure and liner attachment on every bundle
• Measurement: waist, rise, inseam and leg opening on the size set; AQL 2.5 on bulk
• Finishing: print placement on the leg panel, label and packing spec at final inspection

How do you start a shorts program with us?
