What skirts do we manufacture?

Which fabrics do we use for skirts?

Jersey, rib, twill and satin-back crepe from 180 to 300 GSM, dyed to match your tops. Pleated styles need a fabric that holds a heat-set pleat, which is why polyester and polyester blends dominate that category; cotton twill and plaid suit structured pencil and A-line shapes; jersey and rib give the drape and stretch a knit skirt needs. Every fabric is shrinkage-tested before cutting because a lined skirt whose shell and lining shrink at different rates will twist. Custom colours and prints are developed through fabric sourcing.

Which construction details do we hold on every skirt?

Elasticated and fixed waistbands, invisible zips and clean-finished hems come as standard. Fixed waistbands are interlined and topstitched; slits are bar-tacked at the top; linings are attached at the waist and hang free or are bagged out at the hem to spec; heat-set pleats are pressed after sewing so they stay crisp through the first washes.

• Hems: blind-stitched, coverstitched, rolled or raw-edge to spec

How do prints, embroidery and branding work on skirts?

All-over prints are engineered before cutting so motifs land where they should across panels; placement embroidery and prints are sampled on the actual skirt through printing and embroidery partners we audit. Woven waistband labels, care labels and hangtags are applied in-house through private label.

What are the MOQ, sample time and lead time for skirts?

MOQ is 50 pieces per style across sizes. Samples take 8–15 days through sample development and bulk ships 24–30 days after approval, assuming fabric and lining in stock or reserved. Custom prints and yarn-dyes add mill time, which we state in the quote.

Which quality checks run before a skirt ships?

• Fabric: shell and lining shrinkage tested together so the two move alike
• Sewing: invisible zip alignment, waistband interlining, slit bartacks and pleat setting on every bundle
• Measurement: waist, hip and length on the size set; AQL 2.5 on bulk
• Finishing: hem evenness, press quality and hanger-pack spec at final inspection
