Which fabrics do we use for polos?

Cotton piqué from 180 to 240 GSM is the standard: the textured face hides pilling, breathes well and takes embroidery cleanly. Single jersey at 180–200 GSM gives a smoother, more fashion-led hand. Both are pre-shrunk and colour-fastness tested per lot, because a polo that fades unevenly between body and collar looks cheap even if it fits. Which collar, placket and finishing details do we hold?

Collars are flat-knitted with tipping or tonal, sewn onto a reinforced stand; plackets are fused, two- or three-button, with self-fabric or contrast facing; side vents are bar-tacked. Buttons are resin, horn-effect or metal to spec, and every polo gets a taped back neck and shoulder seams.

How do embroidery and branding work on polos?

Chest embroidery is the default polo branding and runs through printing and embroidery workshops we audit, with a stitch-out approved on your sample fabric. Sleeve embroidery, back-neck prints and printed placket tapes are sampled the same way. Woven collar labels, tonal buttons and hangtags finish the piece through private label, so polos arrive retail- or uniform-ready.

What are the MOQ, sample time and lead time for polos?

MOQ is 50 pieces per style across sizes and colours. Samples take 8–15 days through sample development; bulk ships 24–30 days after approval. Custom collar tipping needs the collar knitted to order and adds a few days, which we state in the quote.

Which quality checks run before a polo ships?

• Fabric: colour-fastness and shrinkage tested per lot; collar and body from the same dye lot
• Sewing: collar symmetry, placket alignment, buttonhole strength on every bundle
• Measurement: size-set measured after wash; AQL 2.5 on bulk
• Finishing: embroidery checked for puckering and thread trimming, packing spec at final inspection
