Since 2006, Hualingniao has been the clothing manufacturer behind emerging and scaling brands — turning tech packs and reference samples into production-ready hoodies, tees, tracksuits and jackets, cut and sewn on our own lines in Humen, Dongguan.

Samples are hand-cut and sewn in-house so we can test fit and construction before any bulk commitment.

Fitting & revision

Core knits and wovens are held as running stock; everything else is sourced to swatch. Fabric weight, hand-feel and shrinkage are confirmed at sample stage — never at bulk.

Sample development
Approve the garment before you pay for the run
Samples are made by our own sample room, photographed and measured against your spec sheet, then couriered worldwide. Most styles are confirmed within 1–2 revision rounds.

Woven labels, hang tags, size stickers, poly bags and cartons — produced alongside the garments and applied on the line, so your order arrives shelf-ready.

What buyers ask before the first sample
What is your MOQ?
Fully custom cut-and-sew starts at 50 pieces per style (knitwear from 100 pieces, activewear from 500). Plain blanks from our running styles also start at 50 pieces, with mixed sizes and colours.
How much does a sample cost and how long does it take?
A standard sample costs from US$50 per piece (complex construction up to US$80) and takes 8–15 days once every detail is confirmed. Samples of plain blank styles from our running line start from US$20 and ship in about 3 days.
What is the bulk production lead time?
Standard lead time is 24–30 days after sample approval. Custom fabric dyeing, printing or embroidery add about 7 days per process.
What are your payment terms?
New clients: 50% deposit to start production and 50% before shipment. Repeat clients: 30/70. We accept T/T, PayPal and Western Union.
How do you ship?
Samples and small orders go by express (DHL, FedEx, UPS) — 2–5 days door to door. Bulk orders go by air or sea to your nearest port, or DDP door to door on request.
Does a clothing manufacturer handle customs?
Partly, and the shipping term on your quote decides the split. Under FOB, our default, we clear Chinese export customs and load the goods at the port or airport; your freight forwarder handles the sea or air freight, import clearance and duty in your country. Under DDP, available on request, we or our forwarder take the order all the way to your door with duty paid. We list the suggested HS code on the proforma invoice so your broker can confirm the duty rate before the goods move.
Can I use my own labels, hang tags and packaging?
Yes. We produce woven labels, care labels, hang tags, size stickers, logo poly bags and printed cartons to your artwork, applied in-line so your order arrives retail-ready.
Is Hualingniao a clothing manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer. We cut, sew, finish and pack on our own lines in Humen, Dongguan — the team that makes your first sample runs your bulk order. Buyers are welcome to audit the factory in person or on a video call.
